HART INNOVATIONS Head of Research and Development Alexander Ebinger, and Scientist Christian Genz have further strengthened the company’s reputation with the education sector after attending the North East University Showcase.
The event, which was organised by the North East Process Industry Cluster (NEPIC) invited businesses to look at potential partnerships with local Universities particularly in science and engineering.
After Alexander’s recent visit to the United States and noting how Hart Biologicals’ overseas networks collaborated with educational partners, Alexander was keen to begin learning about university offerings in the UK.
Alexander said: “At Hart Biologicals and Hart Innovations we work with universities regularly to welcome placement students and visits around our laboratories. However there is much more that we can be doing.”
Attendees were invited to listen to pitches from universities presenting technologies, specialist facilities and the technical expertise they can offer.
Alexander added: “Universities such as Durham, have equipment that we don’t require on an everyday basis, but we may be looking to use more frequently in future.
“The event was a great opportunity to meet the figureheads of these universities and be aware of what their facilities can offer.”
