As we come close to completing 2020, the team at Hart Biologicals reflects on an unforgettable year that none of us could have prepared for with the Covid-19 crisis.
Alexander Ebinger, Managing Director said: “I want to take this moment to thank all members of staff for their help during this year and through a pandemic that shocked us all.
“Hart Biologicals has managed to retain all employees, with only a few on furlough earlier in the year, but we were able to bring the whole team back together full time by September, for our last and busiest quarter of the year.
“Despite the challenge that is Covid-19 and trying to keep morale throughout the workplace, Hart has had a very successful year thanks to our clients, customers and of course, the entire team of staff who have been supported and kept safe.”
Keighley Larkin, Technical Manager at Hart Biologicals said: “On behalf of all of our employees, we feel so lucky to have remained in a role that was needed to keep going throughout the pandemic.
“As we are an IVD manufacturer, it was important to maintain and optimise the workspace – ensuring we continued to support and fulfil our customers’ needs.”
This year, Hart Biologicals celebrated three members of staff; Keighley Larkin, Technical Manager, Richard Chapman, Technical Supervisor and Julie Bolton, Senior Finance Assistant, on reaching their 10-year anniversary of working with the company.
Other celebrations included the anniversary of Hart Biologicals and Hart Innovations’ first year under the new leadership of Alexander, with exciting plans to further develop its international presence.
Hart Biologicals is close to introducing a new quality management software which will significantly simplify a lot of processes.
Alexander continued: “Nobody could have predicted what this year would bring for all of us, but we are managing the challenges as best we can.
“We are coming out of this situation stronger and prepared for next year. Thank you to everybody in the Hart family, and I’m looking forward to an even more successful 2021!”
