The International Society on Thrombosis and Haemostasis (ISTH) has converted the leading conference in thrombosis into a digital opportunity for health professionals to immerse themselves in science and education from the comfort of their own desk.
The event that was expected to take place in Milan this year has been cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic and a virtual version has been created so medical experts from around the world can tune in. It will go live on the ISTH website, July 12-14, 2020.
Alexander Ebinger, Managing Director, said: “I’m pleased to say that the Hart Biologicals team will be joining the virtual congress alongside other professionals from around the world.
“We’re not sure what to expect now that it is a digital event, but the scientific presentations have always been excellent and we’re hoping staff will enjoy the learning experience.”
Those who participate will be able to view live plenaries and presentations on the latest science in coagulation and more. Professionals will also engage with live online moderators and be able to ask questions to leading experts.
The programme contains hundreds of interactive e-posters and abstracts that share the latest basic and clinical research. Attendees will have the chance to learn about the latest updates on therapies, diagnostics, product developments and solutions from leading companies.
This virtual congress also allows those who attend to earn Continuing Medical Education (CME) credits at no cost.
