On top of dealing with finance and purchase ledgers, in her new position Wendy now handles the day-to-day running of the busy office.
“I began helping out with sales orders and book-keeping for 12-14 hours per week. Over the years as the company developed and once my two daughters, Amber and Hollie started school, I found myself increasing my hours to 32 per week.”
Wendy continued: “Both girls have very different hobbies, whilst Amber is into horse-riding and looking after her own horse, Hollie is very much into dancing and attending exercise classes with me. They definitely keep me busy.”
The new role and increased hours will be no problem for Wendy, who began her career training as a Sales Negotiator at a local Estate Agents. She added: “I handled mainly property lettings and took care of the Building Society Agency.
“I haven’t had many positions across the years and I’ve always been a hard worker. The few I’ve had are within a broad range of industries.
“Hart Biologicals is a great place to work, it’s a very close-knit team and we’re all really like one big family. “
Wendy will be taking up her new role as Office Manager this month and is looking forward to the challenge.
She added: “They’re all a great hard-working team, so I’ll mostly be overseeing work and ensuring tasks get done. I’m really looking forward to getting started.”
