As the impact of the current crisis widens around the world, Hart Biologicals continues a programme of stepping up to meet the challenge that the coronavirus poses.
At our UK-based production facility, arrangements have been put in place so that manufacturing of the company’s products used by hospital laboratories, healthcare centres and doctors’ surgeries, both at home and abroad, remain available for supply at all times.
Operations Manager, Jason Pattison said: “Our prime objective is continuing to be able to meet the needs of our customers by ensuring that we have all the necessary means to be able to continue production.
“We have been working with our suppliers to ensure continuity of supply of raw materials. Many of the arrangements and procedures which were put in place to cater for the potential disruption around Brexit have been of great value to us.
“Our robust supply chain will ensure that going forward we should not encounter any real problems in producing our products and customers can send their orders with confidence, goods will be shipped pretty much as normal.”
Jason added: “Our staff have been fantastic, they have all rallied round and made the necessary changes to their roles so that safety is maintained and risks minimised.
“We want to thank them all for their support at this time.”
