Hart Biologicals Normal Standard Plasma (NSP) is for use as either a calibrator or an assayed plasma control in the testing of coagulation factors and other plasma components involved in haemostasis.
NSP may be used when assaying for Factors II, V, VII, VIII, IX, X1, XI, XII, fibrinogen, von Willebrand Factor, antigenic and functional Protein C and Protein S (total and free), as well as the chromogenic assays including Antithrombin III, Protein C, Factor VIII and Plasminogen.
Factor II, VII, VIII, IX and X values and the chromogenic Factor VIII, AT-III and Protein C values are traceable to World Health Organisation standards to ensure the utmost credibility in values stated.
